The food is solid, in particular the egg sandwich and nyama choma, and is relatively westerner-friendly compared to other restaurants in Busia. Compared to western standards, the food takes a ton of time to arrive (around an hour) but this is average for Busia restaurants and the service is friendly. It’s possible to order ahead if in a rush. The ambiance is laid-back and comfortable. Went here a bunch during my two months in Busia.

Very attentive staff! Delicious fresh watermelon juice and chips masala. Lots of space to lounge and relax. Many TV’s inside to watch sports.
